The Honourable Commissioner for transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi has affirmed the commitment of the Lagos State Government to address indiscriminate parking, create more parking spaces and promote a good parking culture in the State.
Osiyemi during a familiarization visit to the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) on Friday stressed that Lagos State Government is resolute in creating a more sustainable and efficient parking environment.
He noted that the establishment of LASPA in Lagos is akin to what obtains in developed cities across the world, reaffirming the unflinching support of the ministry of transportation and Governor Sanwo-Olu to the activities of the agency and in ensuring that LASPA fulfils its mandate.
Osiyemi admonished the members of staff of the agency to be proactive and more professional in the discharge of their statutory responsibilities.
